There’s more peat moss in Russia than anywhere else
Peat moss is used as picking material for shipping plants. It grows in swamps or bogs. Russia’s Vasyugan Swamp, on the world’s largest plain (the West Siberian Plain), has more peat moss than any other swamp. Peat moss is also known as sphagnum.
